About the Role

Datacom is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our End User Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers.

This role will be based on-site in Albury, and you must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain an AGSVA Baseline clearance to be eligible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support in a high-paced environment, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Assist new users with IT hardware collection and setup, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Ensure new equipment is up-to-date and deployment-ready prior to release to customers.
  • Record all customer contacts in our ITSM tool, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Communicate progress updates to customers, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Utilize tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Proactively manage and maintain customer infrastructure as directed.
  • Identify opportunities for service and process improvement, driving positive change.
Requirements
  • Exceptional customer experience with regard to end-user services.
  • Ability to prioritize work to ensure achievement of all service level agreements.
  • Sound knowledge of laptops, desktop PCs, printers, media, and audio-visual equipment, BYOD, and mobility.
