Job Summary:

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional pastoral care to vulnerable individuals?

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pastoral Care Coordinator to join our team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized spiritual support and care services to residents and clients, respecting their cultural and spiritual wellbeing.
  • Support mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by closely following policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or IV in Pastoral Care or equivalent qualifications in theology or spirituality.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Catholic faith principles, particularly in relation to dignity of life and aged care.
  • Commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly, as well as their family members.
  • Ability to respect residents' values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to apply for police check and NDIS clearance.
