Role Overview
">This is an opportunity to work in a culturally safe environment, delivering gynaecology care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women accessing the Women's Business Shared Pathway.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and conduct regular community-based health promotion and prevention sessions relevant to women's health.">
- Build health literacy and encourage self-determination in women accessing the Women's Business Shared Pathway, and the wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.">
- Support the growth of cultural capability amongst the team, and allied health departments as required through the provision of cultural education and mentoring.">
- Actively participate in initiatives and professional organisations such as the National Association of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Practitioners.">
Health Equity:
">This role contributes to the health equity agenda by supporting the elimination of discrimination and institutional racism, increasing access to healthcare, influencing social and economic determinants of health, and recognising the importance of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
