This role involves managing teams, planning and conducting international engagements, developing strategies and policies, and representing the DIO in various settings.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to plan and conduct DIO senior international engagements, providing advice on engagement objectives and developing communication packs.
  • Lead development of DIO's international engagement strategy, policies and plans, and support prioritisation and coordination of DIO's international engagement agenda.
  • Represent DIO in engagement across Defence, the Australian Government, and with foreign partners.
  • Advise DIO on third-party release of information to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and policy.
  • Develop DIO policies and guidance for the conduct of international events and travel.
