Job Overview

The Operations Support Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of key functions. This position is responsible for coordinating with the management team to manage day-to-day operations.

  • Compliance Reporting: Manage mandatory compliance reporting, including STV, TAC, and internal reports.
  • Infringement Notices: Handle infringement notices and assist with documentation.
  • Induction and Training: Support the induction and on-the-job training for new and relieving drivers.
  • Depot Repairs and Infrastructure: Liaise with relevant teams for depot repairs and infrastructure needs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with reception and general administrative tasks as required.
">Rostering and Payroll Support

Support the Operations team with weekly driver rosters, RDOs, and annual leave schedules. Update payroll using relevant systems and collaborate with the Charter team for large-scale event movements.

  • Route Diversions: Assist in planning and managing route diversions.
  • Fuel Stock Control: Support fuel stock control, ordering, and reporting.
  • Operational Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to various operational improvement initiatives.
">Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in an operational support role—ideally in the public transport sector.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (highly regarded).
