About the Role:

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to serve as a Medical Workforce Unit Coordinator.

This critical position involves providing efficient administration services, including coordinating Junior Medical Officer/Senior Medical Officer recruitment, on-boarding, and credentialing, as well as managing JMO recruitment/rotation processes for Healthscope.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal abilities, allowing them to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

A comprehensive knowledge of industrial awards, legislative requirements, and policies/procedures at a local, district, and state level is essential.

We are seeking an individual who can take initiative, work independently, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the unit and achieve key performance indicators through planning and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate JMO/SMO recruitment, on-boarding, and credentialing.
  • Manage JMO recruitment/rotation processes for Healthscope.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, correspondence, and audits.
  • Assist junior and senior medical staff enquiries, orientation, and wellbeing.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant awards, legislatives requirements, and policies/procedures.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and learn quickly.
  • Proven ability to manage workload in high volume environment, with competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
