We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our research, quality assurance, and equity initiatives.

About the Role

This pivotal position involves leading a high-performing team focused on research, accreditation, quality assurance, and government-funded initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving strategic research agendas and overseeing key programs such as FATES and the Specialist Training Program (STP)
  • Designing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks
  • Oversight of hospital training post accreditation aligned with AMC standards
  • Guiding research projects advancing surgical education and healthcare equity
  • Fostering high-performance team cultures and stakeholder collaboration
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • A PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification in research, with extensive experience in healthcare or education research and evaluation
  • Proven leadership of complex research programs and teams
  • Strong experience in accreditation, quality assurance, and M&E frameworks
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • A track record in securing funding and working with government and academic partners
