Project Assurance and Advisory Role

We're seeking a highly skilled professional to lead and manage projects focused on assurance and advisory services, including risk assessment, controls evaluation, and compliance initiatives.

As a senior consultant or consultant, you'll collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective business and risk assurance strategies, providing assurance and/or advisory services on ESG compliance and/or SOX compliance and other regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing projects focused on assurance and advisory services
  • Developing and implementing effective business and risk assurance strategies
  • Providing assurance and/or advisory services on ESG compliance and/or SOX compliance and other regulatory requirements
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members in their professional development
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices related to risk management and compliance

Skill and Attributes for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Technology, or a related field
  • One or more of the following or equivalent +3 years of experience in providing assurance or advisory over risk and controls (business process and/or IT general controls), program and project risk management services, regulatory compliance (e.g. privacy, SoCI Act, ESG, SOX, Spam Act)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CA, CIA, CPA, CISA, PMP or other relevant certifications) are a plus
