The role of Airline Operations Manager is critical in ensuring seamless flight operations. You will be at the heart of our operations, managing flight schedules, minimizing disruptions, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

In this dynamic role, you'll have a varied day, taking charge of operational planning, coordination, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Your quick thinking and problem-solving skills will be essential in helping us maintain schedule integrity and ensure a smooth experience for our passengers and clients.

This 12-month full-time contract includes:

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Continuously monitor all aspects of the operation, identify potential impacts, and take action to reduce disruptions.
  • Communication & Coordination: Be the primary contact for all operational situations, keeping teams informed and ensuring smooth handovers.
  • Disruption Management: Assess resources, implement disruption plans, and make real-time decisions to keep our network running.
  • Charter Coordination: Handle the planning and execution of charter services, balancing client needs with operational efficiency.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain compliance with regulatory, security, and crew requirements while keeping accurate documentation for emergency response.

You'll also be required to undertake trainer roles for new staff members and assist with other team members as needed, both planning and during operations.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong understanding of cross-functional operations and crew management.
  • An ability to remain calm and decisive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid experience within an Operations Control Centre environment.
  • Flexibility with shifts, including willingness to work rotating shifts (AM and PM shifts operate between 3.00 AM and 10.00 PM) with some flexibility to accommodate business needs.
