Job Title: Food and Beverage Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Lead to join our team at Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill. As a key member of our Food and Beverage operations team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Food and Beverage outlet operations to ensure high-quality service and efficient operations.
  • Communicate and delegate tasks to the team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards and quality control measures.
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Represent the needs of the team and provide support to Food and Beverage management.
  • Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets and training and development of team members.
  • Comply with Hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

Requirements:

  • Passion for customer service and a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Supervisory experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve high-quality service standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 38 hours per week across a variety of shifts.
  • Holds a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) in QLD.
