Job Title: Community Claims Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Community Claims Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on connecting workers with local community programs, helping them overcome barriers and achieve positive claims outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate access to community programs and guide workers in navigating local resources.
  • Establish strong relationships with workers to understand their unique situations and needs.
  • Collaborate with claims teams to ensure seamless integration of community support into the claims process.
  • Provide face-to-face support at medical case conferences to offer direct assistance and address worker needs.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with internal and external customers.
  • Employ a person-centered approach, focusing on understanding and addressing individual worker needs.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with local community programs, government-funded initiatives, and charity supports to assist workers in overcoming barriers.
  • Proven working experience in social work or community engagement roles.
  • Allied Health or Social Work qualifications.
  • High level interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective communication skills and excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of how local current affairs and activities impact employers and their workforce.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals.
  • Comfortable leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
