Business Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in our ERP Replacement Program team.

The successful candidate will have a passion for business analysis and a proactive mindset towards achieving high-quality business solution outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the business to align with ERP strategy, identifying and analysing areas for improvement in business systems, processes, workflows, and customer service.
  • Generate clear, detailed project scoping and design documentation for technical specialists to build appropriate business solutions.
  • Consult effectively with business areas, managers, departments, users, workplace bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure their requirements are accurately captured and reflected in test scenarios.
  • Champion changes from the business perspective, ensuring alignment with business needs, objectives, and IT strategy.
  • Liaise with technical resources, both internal and external, to monitor technical developments.
  • Ensure all developments are consistent with legislative and professional standards, maintaining data integrity and security at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A degree in a related field such as business, commerce or information technology.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in a local government setting.
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.
