We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Theatre Orderly to join our team.

  • As a Theatre Orderly, you will work closely with clinical staff, assisting with patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the theatre department.
  1. Cleaning and waste removal are essential tasks that require attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
  2. Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked is critical to the success of our operations.
  3. Assisting in Perioperative patient positioning requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  4. Transporting patients between wards requires a high level of physical fitness and stamina.

**Key Requirements:**

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently is crucial.

  • Availability for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster is required.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures is essential.
  • Motivated and positive individuals with a high level of attention to detail are ideal candidates for this role.
