Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead the execution of key programs and development activities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. They will perform cyber assurance assessments across a portfolio of systems, providing specialist advice on best practices for security.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain incident response requirements and standards.
  • Develop and implement awareness programs to educate stakeholders on incident response procedures.

Additionally, the candidate must maintain confidentiality and discretion, protecting sensitive information and data. They will empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance throughout the organization.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • An Australian Security Clearance at the NV2 Level and be an Australian Citizen.
  • Familiarity with security controls within the Australian Government context.
  • Industry certifications such as ISO27001 Lead Auditor, CISA, CISSP, IRAP are highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business environments and make adjustments as needed.
