  • As a Cyber Security Assurance Professional, you will lead key program and development activities for various customers.
">

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide specialist advice on best practices for system accreditation activities and standards across Defence Australia.

">

You will be responsible for providing quality assurance on system accreditation submissions, maintaining a portfolio of systems and their authorisation status, and collaborating with specialists, project managers, and other internal teams on the development and maintenance of incident response requirements and standards for projects that comply with relevant Government legislation as mandated by the Defence Industry Security Program.

In this role, you will develop and implement an awareness and educational program specific to incident response to ensure compliance, confidentiality, and operational security in line with Government requirements.

You will also maintain confidentiality, discretion, and high levels of integrity to ensure both organisation and client information and data is protected.

A successful candidate will empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance across the business, have experience/qualifications such as a diploma or degree in cyber security, IT, related discipline or equivalent experience, and hold an Australian Security Clearance at the NV2 Level and be an Australian Citizen to meet defence security requirements.

This role requires highly organised, task-oriented, self-starters who demonstrate a high degree of initiative and require minimal supervision, ability to make and/or change plans, goals, and actions in response to an evolving business environment with the awareness to operate as a focal point for incident response across the business, and ability to travel periodically as planned or unplanned within or outside assigned region.
