About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a Senior Data Modeller position and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of efficient and scalable data models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse business requirements to translate them into robust logical and physical data models.
  • Design and optimise database structures to ensure maximum performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to capture precise data requirements and ensure solutions are aligned with business goals.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in data modelling, with a strong focus on designing and developing dimensional data marts using the Kimball methodology.
  • Proven proficiency in a cloud environment with hands-on expertise in SQL, Databricks, and dbt (data build tool).
  • Expertise using industry-standard data modelling software such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated experience creating data models specifically to support business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI) and advanced analytics.
  • Excellent consulting skills with a proven ability to engage clients, understand business challenges, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to run workshops and articulate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • A strong understanding of core data management principles, including metadata management and data governance best practices.
