**Data Modeller**

**Permanent: $130k package (base + super)**

**Attribute is pleased to partner with a key client in the travel industry who are booming back into business post a lockdown world. We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller to assist in sharing critical information assets around the business.**

**The Role**:
The Data Science and Engineering (DSE) area are seeking a highly motivated Data Modeller with experience in data stewardship and data engineering to take on the challenge of transforming how DSE manages and shares our critical information assets. In this role you will work directly with technology leaders and thought leaders from across the business on critical data and governance initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Core Data Modelling experience including but not exclusive to:

- Engage business users to assess needs. Review the business process and conceptualise the entities that interoperate within the business process
- Identify each entity's characteristics and properties and ensure that the entities can be differentiated within the model
- Transform the logical representation of the model into a physical representation and work with data engineers to instantiate and manage the data
- Collaborate with the BI and Analytics teams on creating the optimised, reusable semantic models, complete with metadata and lineage information

**Key Skills and experience**:

- 3+ years Data modelling experience
- Experience with Business Intelligence products e.g., Power BI
- Excellent communication skills to consult, facilitate and consensus build
- Proven experience in an enterprise environment developing relational datasets
- Proven experience developing models for Business Intelligence solutions
- Strong analytical, data profiling and problem-solving skills
- Advanced SQL skills
- In depth knowledge of Azure technologies
- In depth knowledge of Databricks
- In depth knowledge of the data modelling tools being proficient in at least one
- Experience with Microsoft's Purview
