We are seeking a seasoned Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction for the unit, ensuring efficient and effective management of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Direct the daily operations of the unit, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes excellent patient-centered care.
- Nursing Care Coordination: Oversee the delivery of evidence-based nursing care, ensuring seamless coordination with other healthcare professionals.
- Team Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to staff members, empowering them to excel in their roles.
- Resource Management: Effectively manage human, financial, and material resources to optimize unit performance.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to ACQSHC National standards, maintaining a culture of excellence and quality.
- Clinical Expertise: Current Registration with AHPRA and demonstrated expertise in leadership, nursing practice, and quality improvement.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, promoting service excellence and positive stakeholder relationships.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge Base: Demonstrated knowledge of labor management, private health funding requirements, and clinical care standards.
