As a Senior Payroll Operations Leader, you will be responsible for driving accuracy, efficiency and compliance in our payroll operations. The role sits within our Business Services Centre, providing services including payroll, purchase to pay, accounts receivable and travel and expense management.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing remediation case lifecycles from defining and analysing issues to implementing resolutions.

You will conduct data analysis to validate results, ensure accuracy and drive continuous improvements in payroll processes.

You will prepare accurate payroll data, conduct reconciliations and calculate payments, including complex terminations and long service leave balances.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across business units to validate outcomes, provide insights and implement process improvements.

You will communicate payment details to employees and external parties, maintain project documentation and meet compliance obligations.

You will provide coaching, development and leadership to team members to enhance performance and maintain service levels.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years end to end payroll experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant payroll qualifications or certifications (e.g. Certified Payroll Professional).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience managing workload distribution at a senior level and assisting the team to complete workload.
