The Opportunity

As the Senior Manager, Account Development Manager, you'll oversee a team of Account Development Representatives who work collaboratively across field marketing, sales, channels, and solution consulting. Your mission will be to identify new business opportunities in strategic accounts by engaging with clients to increase awareness of OpenText's innovative products and solutions across diverse industries. Account development is at the heart of OpenText's success, and this role is critical in driving the company's future growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team of Account Development Representatives to achieve pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Partner with field marketing, sales, and solution consulting to ensure a continuous flow of qualified opportunities.
  • Manage employee productivity to achieve daily goals and monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Develop and execute sales plays to drive proactive outbound leads.
  • Manage the marketing funnel to drive tangible sales-qualified opportunities from marketing-qualified leads.
  • Continuously improve the account development process.
  • Report to management and key stakeholders on KPIs.
  • Manage employee performance reviews and development plans.
  • Champion special projects around new initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced people manager with a strong track record of managing diverse teams.
  • Proven leadership in inside sales/account development/lead development teams.
  • Strong communication, writing, presentation, and persuasive skills.
  • Good understanding of enterprise software.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • 10-15 years of related experience or a related degree.
