**Job Overview:**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Archaeology Consultant to join our team in Sydney.

This role involves leading consultation and fieldwork in accordance with NSW legislative guidelines and protocols.

You will demonstrate high-level research, interpretation, report writing, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and experience managing consultation under Aboriginal cultural heritage requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead consultation and fieldwork projects.
  • Prepare archaeological assessments and provide technical advice to clients.
  • Direct and train consultants and assistant consultants.
  • Assist in project undertakings and client relationships.
  • Work across various applications to develop proposals, tenders, and submissions.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in archaeology.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience and strong track record at a similar level.
  • Proficient understanding and application of statutory heritage legislation.
