Waste Management Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Waste Management Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of waste management facilities.
Main Responsibilities:- Accurately identify and categorize waste streams, undeclared items, and hazardous substances entering or stored at the facility.
- Provide excellent customer service by guiding clients on the use of the facility, including directing them to relevant drop-off points, bays, and assisting with unloading as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of waste management facilities and surrounding areas, including cleaning the transfer station, collecting windblown litter, and removing off-site littering and illegal dumping.
- Previous experience in waste management or a related field is highly desirable.
- A valid driver's license and preferably a heavy rigid truck license.
- A current white card.
- Willingness to undergo a police background check.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office.
