Facilities Coordinator Specialist

Ventia is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to coordinate the delivery of integrated Facility Management services at HM Prison Barwon and the Karreenga Correctional Centre.
The role involves overseeing site-based FM operations, ensuring that services are scheduled and delivered to high standards, including planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, remedial works, and oversight of both hard and soft service contractors across a multi-site precinct.
- Establish effective client relationships, providing exceptional rapport with client officers.
- Oversight for site-based FM operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery. This includes planning and execution of tasks, such as delivering planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, remedial works, and overseeing contractors.
- Liaise with clients to ensure seamless access for subcontractor employees during agreed times and locations.
- Manage subcontractors on site, ensuring adherence to security, safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements before and during site visits.
- Audit performance, inspect work quality, and conduct regular checks.
- Serve as an escalation point for technical matters or complex building systems fault finding exercises.
- Organize resources, materials, and equipment for efficient service delivery.
- Ensure administrative activities are completed, including reviewing services, contractor KPIs, and issuing/completing work permits.
- Assist with scoping, executing, and delivering individual site-based CAPEX, Asset Refurbishment-Lifecycle/Project Works, and handover documentation as needed.
Experience working in large complex environments with a focus on planned and reactive maintenance is highly desirable.
