We're seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our team.

The role involves crafting user experiences across native apps and shaping how millions interact with our news brands.

About the Role

  • Design end-to-end product lifecycle from research to high-fidelity UI design.
  • Conduct structured user research using empathy to understand user needs.
  • Synthesise large amounts of data, crafting compelling insights from multiple sources.
  • Lead co-design workshops applying Design Thinking methodology.
  • Contribute to Service Blueprinting and User Journey Mapping.
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing high fidelity user interfaces for native mobile and web applications.
  • Champion accessibility, consistency, and design excellence across all platforms.
  • Advocate for user needs while aligning with business goals.
  • Ensure defined business requirements, usability, and accessibility are met.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience shipping products and developing Design Systems.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as User Interface Design, User Experience (UX) Design, or Product (UX/UI) Design.
  • Proficiency in design tools Figma, JIRA, Confluence, and other relevant software.
  • Experience in design thinking methodologies, human-centered design, or other relevant design frameworks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment managing designs across multiple products.
  • Experience working alongside development teams in an agile environment.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop new approaches.
