Product Development Manager - Technical Lead

At a2 Milk Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager - Technical Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for the technical development and delivery of Liquid Milk products, including pasteurized milk, extended shelf-life milk, UHT milk, flavoured milk, and fortified milk.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in consumer-focused liquid milk and dairy powder development roles. They will be responsible for creating new products, reformulating existing products, and implementing cost-saving measures. They will also provide technical direction and guidance to the product development team, lead the development of technical briefs, and mentor the team in product formulation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail, and a strong team player. They will be comfortable with a fast-paced culture and able to deal with ambiguity. They will also be willing to travel domestically and internationally when required.

  • Ability to provide technical direction and expertise on formulation, new ingredients, new technologies, and factory scale up
  • Experience coaching or managing others
  • Ability to partner with and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
