Leadership Opportunity in Support Coordination

This role offers a chance to lead a passionate team of Support Coordinators who support people with diverse disabilities in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team to deliver high-quality Support Coordination services to individuals with complex needs. This includes collaborating with the NDIS and Disability Program Manager to provide strategic direction and leadership in Support Coordination.

In addition, the team leader will ensure that Peninsula Health services meet NDIS Quality and Safety Commission requirements, including preparation and completion of external audits.

The position also involves partnering with external agencies to ensure positive experiences and outcomes for participants. Furthermore, conducting service evaluations, including consumer experience and outcomes, is a key responsibility to inform the development of a 3-year strategic business plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate current specialist knowledge and skills in Support Coordination
  • Understand legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector and underpinning the NDIS
  • Exhibit strong proactive and collaborative leadership
  • Clinical leadership and supervision of staff to promote professional competence and foster individual staff development
  • Highly developed communication skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving
  • Possess a current Victorian Driver's License
