Job Title: Cloud Technical Support Specialist

Job Description

At Canonical, we're seeking a talented Cloud Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our customers and internal stakeholders. This role involves investigating complex customer issues, escalating problems when necessary, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical difficulties.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Work closely with customers, colleagues, and external partners to ensure seamless issue resolution
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles to enhance shared knowledge and customer satisfaction
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
  • Strong Linux system administration skills, including virtualization, cloud computing, and containerization
  • Experience working with DevOps tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenStack
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills, including navigating stack traces and logs
