Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Design and build scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design: Develop efficient, scalable, and secure AWS-based infrastructure solutions.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor resource consumption for supported services within AWS accounts, identify potential bottlenecks in applications or Kubernetes cluster performance, and participate in incident response to minimize downtime.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues to resolve blockers and complete tasks, fostering a team-oriented environment. Communicate effectively on both technical and non-technical subjects.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement, mentor junior engineers, and share knowledge to foster professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience designing and deploying scalable and secure infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS): 3+ years.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms: 2+ years, preferably with Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, with significant experience using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources: 2+ years.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
