About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at Now Careers. As a Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing civil, structural, and infrastructure projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Minimize project risks and optimize commercial results through effective risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver clear, accurate reporting to stakeholders, including project progress, financials, and quality control metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project outcomes, focusing on technically challenging builds and innovative solutions.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control and adherence to project specifications, ensuring top-tier safety across all projects.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working on construction projects over $20 million.
  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Deep understanding of concrete, steel structures, excavation, and civil works.
  • Strong experience with civil construction drawings and project management software, including MS Project, Procore, and AUTOCAD.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractor coordination, QA documentation, and risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with the Building Code of Australia, WH&S, and environmental controls.
  • Construction White Card and a valid driver's license.
