About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager to support day-to-day operations and personnel onsite. This role will see you play a crucial part in fostering positive relationships and empowering staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new personnel arrivals to site and mobilisation, including inductions, site access, transport, and accommodation.
  • Coordinate and manage the mobilisation of Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS) workers.
  • Transport employees to clinics and appointments.
  • Address employee issues proactively and resolve conflicts.
  • Manage and support onsite employee wellbeing, including regular check-ins and follow-ups.
  • Educate and mentor onsite employees in workplace operations.
  • Foster the relationship between the client and FIP Group employees.
  • Manage the onsite workforce, including employee onboarding, performance, and conduct-related matters.
  • Escalate serious breaches or seek guidance on desired outcomes from Internal HR.
  • Oversee, manage, and report on employee retention and attendance.
  • Educate and coach onsite employees and visitors on safe site practices.
  • Monitor and report site safety and WHS policies and procedures.

You should possess the following attributes:

  • People management experience
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite skills
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to the fundamentals of Human Resources, HR experience is desirable
  • Open Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
  • High-level problem-solving skills
  • Ability and willingness to receive a QFever vaccination and complete a Police Check
  • Exposure to site safety and WHS policies is desired
  • Experience working with a culturally diverse workforce is desired
