About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Manpower Australia and oversee the maintenance and upkeep of Specialist Disability Accommodation homes across NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault Verification: Verify faults with electrical systems, plumbing, and appliances in SDA homes to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents.
  • Maintenance Task Coordination: Coordinate maintenance tasks, including repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance, to ensure the smooth operation of SDA homes.
  • Contractor Management: Manage relationships with contractors and service providers to schedule maintenance work and ensure timely completion.
  • Asset Monitoring: Monitor the condition of SDA homes and address any maintenance issues promptly to prevent costly repairs and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a facilities management or property care environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize maintenance tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with contractors, residents, and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and possess relevant computer skills, including experience in verifying faults with electrical systems, plumbing, and appliances.
Additional Requirements
  • Certifications: A current police check is required for this role.
  • Equipment: A company-provided phone and laptop will be provided to support the role.
  • Benefits: A car allowance will be provided to support travel to SDA homes.
