Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting functional behavioural assessments and developing quality comprehensive behaviour support plans
  • Developing and implementing behaviour support plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each client
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive support service to clients
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families on behaviour management strategies
  • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of the team's goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Minimum of PROFICIENT level NDIS registration
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and their families
  • A passion for helping individuals with behavioural difficulties
