About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PBS Practitioner to join our passionate multidisciplinary team providing life-changing services to clients across the lifespan who are overcoming harmful behaviours and promoting a high quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement evidence-based intervention approaches and strategies that are holistic, client-centred, and outcome-driven.
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and identify restrictive practices.
  • Write behaviour support plans (interim and comprehensive) and plan, deliver, and evaluate behaviour supports relating to the individual's needs in line with the Disability Services Standards, Child Safety, NDIS, and other relevant legislative requirements.
  • Utilize and provide a range of assessment tools and techniques to support clients and other stakeholders in developing and reviewing support plans.
  • Advocate for clients, their carers, and families to enable choice and decision-making that supports independence and quality of life.
Requirements
  • Passion for working with people with a disability.
  • Assessed as proficient and above by the NDIS Commission against the PBS Capability Framework.
  • Experience in positive behaviour support, applied behaviour analysis, or a related field.
  • Driver's license/registered vehicle (desirable).
  • National police check, WWCC, and a driver's license (essential).
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption).
  • The ability to develop and deliver therapy-based programs and assessments.
