Reporting to the Service Manager, Equipment, this position entails overseeing the mechanical tasks associated with the repair, upkeep, and servicing of turf maintenance equipment within a designated area (company vehicle provided) as part of a broader national network.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Efficiently managing field service priorities and schedules
  • Maintaining a safe, organized, and well-equipped service vehicle
  • Coordinating and executing various mechanical tasks related to the repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance equipment
  • Establishing and maintaining pertinent service-related documentation
  • Delivering product service training to clients as necessary
  • Building and sustaining a customer base to ensure the ongoing financial success of the Service Centre
  • Participating in regular internal product training to meet OEM service standards

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile machinery, including hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as diesel and petrol engines
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools to identify mechanical or electrical issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to foster effective business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License
