About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Economic Development, Tourism and Regional Prosperity. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving economic growth, tourism development, and community prosperity in our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement economic development strategies to drive growth and investment in the region.
  • Lead the development and implementation of tourism initiatives to promote the region's unique attractions and experiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships and partnerships that support economic development and tourism growth.
  • Provide guidance and support to community groups and organizations to help them achieve their goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, economic development, tourism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in economic development, tourism, or a related field, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and initiative.
