About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to join our team at K'gari Beach Resort, located on the stunning K'gari (Fraser Island). As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

Your main responsibilities will include washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and assisting with food preparation as needed. This role offers the unique opportunity to live and work in a stunning natural environment, surrounded by the beauty of K'gari.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Assist with food preparation as needed
  • Follow safe handling techniques to transport and store food items
  • Wipe down benches, mop floors, and remove rubbish from multiple outlets
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
