
Philanthropy Fundraising Professional

We are seeking an exceptional Philanthropy Fundraising Professional to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a leading role in securing major philanthropic investments to support ambitious health initiatives.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement integrated fundraising campaigns, securing major gifts for our organization and its hospitals. You will also support leadership with proposals, donor meetings, and prospect engagement to maximize results.
You will steward and report back to donors regarding the impact of their philanthropic giving, developing and delivering fundraising campaigns in conjunction with our Marketing, Events, Development, and Data teams.
In addition, you will actively participate in initiatives that enhance patient-focused outcomes, honouring the holistic well-being of those in our care in line with our mission, guided by the principles of compassion, justice, integrity, and excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A proven leader in major gifts and/or philanthropic campaigns, with a reputation for building trust, cultivating high-level relationships, and delivering results.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, fundraising, communications, or related fields; CFRE and/or FIA membership preferred.
- Proven success leading major gift fundraising and campaign strategies in complex organizations (healthcare, education, research, or arts sectors preferred).
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical or research information to diverse philanthropic audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the gravitas to engage and influence donors and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
- Experience with donor CRM systems (preferably Raiser's Edge NXT) and managing donor pipelines.
