Trade Compliance Expert

Transforming trade compliance challenges into opportunities requires a unique blend of strategy, collaboration, and expertise.

Mars seeks an experienced Trade Compliance Country Manager to lead the development and implementation of compliance programs that meet or exceed industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge in trade and customs compliance regulations for Australia and New Zealand, as well as strong experience in complex environments such as CPG, legal, or consulting.

A minimum of 7+ years of experience in trade and customs compliance is required, with a proven track record of driving cost avoidance through effective customs compliance strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing compliance programs that meet or exceed industry standards;
  • Conducting audits and developing strategies for cost avoidance;
  • Leading initiatives in duty drawback and free trade agreements;
  • Training associates on new trade policies to foster a culture of compliance;
