Community Engagement Professional
Job Description- A Community Engagement professional is required to join our project team in South East Queensland. The role will involve building strong relationships with different stakeholders and managing community engagement strategies.
The face of the project, you will be responsible for tracking and reporting on Community and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy plans, managing community engagement systems on all activities and project works, liaising with Government, property owners, local residents & community, developing community engagement strategies and improving them when required, working closely with Engineers / Project Manager to ensure delivery of project is in line with community engagement plan and adheres to legislative & safety requirements, presenting project updates at community meetings and representing contractor in a favorable way, reporting community feedback to project teams, preparing publications, newsletters, presentations, and media information, assisting with postal drops, and providing additional general community engagement support and assistance as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within civil construction
- Qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar is desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with different stakeholders
- Strong initiative, adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Hold a white card
