Maternal and Child Health Nursing Opportunity

- Delivering high-quality, family-centred care that supports the health, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0–6.
- Building trusted relationships with families, offering guidance and support through key developmental stages and life challenges.
- Identifying and responding to complex needs including mental health, family violence, and child safety concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure wraparound support and optimal outcomes for families.
- Leading and participating in community education initiatives promoting health, resilience, and connection across the municipality.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Registration with AHPRA as a General Nurse and Midwife.
- Qualification as a Maternal and Child Health Nurse.
- Desirable minimum 2 years' experience in the MCH sector, with demonstrated ability to support vulnerable and diverse families within an outreach setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge of child development, behaviour, and family dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and culturally safe practice.
- Commitment to working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to assess risk and respond appropriately, including mandatory reporting.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
