The position operates on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off roster, with travel provided from major cities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver primary and emergency healthcare services, including advanced life support and trauma management as required.
  • Conduct daily medical clinics, manage injuries and illnesses, and facilitate return-to-work planning.
  • Liaise with healthcare providers for medevacs and specialist referrals.
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and facilitate health assessments.
  • Develop and implement health-related training programs, including First Aid and occupational health awareness.
  • Maintain medical facilities and equipment to a high standard.
  • Promote workplace health initiatives and deliver training sessions aligned with the Healthier Workplaces strategy.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
  • Advanced Life Support and CPR Certification.
  • Trauma Qualification (e.g., PHTLS or TNCC).
  • Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in remote or resource sector health service delivery is highly regarded.
