This role presents a unique chance to deliver high-quality clinical care and health education in a challenging and rewarding remote work environment.
The position operates on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off roster, with travel provided from major cities.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver primary and emergency healthcare services, including advanced life support and trauma management as required.
- Conduct daily medical clinics, manage injuries and illnesses, and facilitate return-to-work planning.
- Liaise with healthcare providers for medevacs and specialist referrals.
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and facilitate health assessments.
- Develop and implement health-related training programs, including First Aid and occupational health awareness.
- Maintain medical facilities and equipment to a high standard.
- Promote workplace health initiatives and deliver training sessions aligned with the Healthier Workplaces strategy.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
- Advanced Life Support and CPR Certification.
- Trauma Qualification (e.g., PHTLS or TNCC).
- Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in remote or resource sector health service delivery is highly regarded.
