
Remote Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our dedicated team in remote Queensland.
- Deliver primary and emergency health care, including advanced life support and trauma management as required.
- Conduct daily medical clinics, manage work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses, and facilitate return-to-work planning.
- Liaise with internal and external healthcare providers for medevacs and specialist referrals.
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and facilitate health assessments such as audiometry and spirometry.
- Facilitate health-related training programs including First Aid, CPR, Injury Management, and occupational health awareness.
- Maintain medical facilities and equipment to a high standard, ensuring alignment with clinical governance and protocols.
- Promote workplace health initiatives and deliver training sessions aligned with the Healthier Santos strategy.
- Uphold all health, safety and environmental requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) and CPR Certification.
- Trauma Qualification (e.g., PHTLS or TNCC).
- Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005 or equivalent).
