Job Overview
The Construction Procurement Specialist plays a pivotal role in facilitating effective procurement practices and ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
They will spearhead critical procurement activities to drive value for money outcomes while maintaining stringent governance standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide specialist procurement advice and support the delivery of efficient procurement processes.
- Develop and maintain rigorous tendering, purchasing, and contract management systems that are transparent, credible, and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement leadership, with a proven track record of achieving best value outcomes within the construction, property development, or government infrastructure sector.
- In-depth knowledge of government procurement legislation and regulatory requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria as an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work permit or visa. A comprehensive CV and Cover Letter outlining their suitability to the role in line with the Key Selection Criteria must be submitted.
