Role Overview

This is a critical role that will ensure the voices, perspectives and priorities of participants and families are meaningfully embedded across all levels of our organization.

The ideal candidate will support embedding lived experience across strategy, workforce development, service design and delivery, promoting inclusive approaches such as co-production and shared decision-making.

We are seeking an individual who can design and implement engagement processes that reflect lived experience values, supporting existing participant engagement programs and promoting opportunities for participants and families to develop leadership and advocacy skills.

This role requires collaboration, values-led practice and a commitment to inclusive practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote inclusive approaches and practices
  • Develop and implement engagement strategies that reflect lived experience values
  • Sustain and grow existing participant engagement initiatives
  • Foster opportunities for participants and families to develop leadership and advocacy skills
  • Capture and utilize service experience and outcome measures that matter to those we serve

About You

We are looking for an individual with lived experience of mental distress or as a family member, carer or supporter, skilled in community engagement, facilitation and partnership-building.

A National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check are mandatory requirements.
