About the Role:

The Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing B2B marketing strategies and communications for Celebrity Cruises, based in Sydney. This role will collaborate with the Commercial Marketing Director and Sales team to plan and execute sales objectives through campaigns and tactics with trade partners and trade media, aiming to achieve a strong return on investment (ROI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement go-to-market calendars and strategies to deliver commercial sales objectives, including all outward communication to the trade database.
  • Create content calendars and advertising strategies for the brand's B2B trade media investments, including management and bookings.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration with Sales, Marketing & PR, Commercial, Operations, and Revenue teams, as well as build effective relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Define and align seasonal marketing calendars incorporating product, retail, and brand activity.
  • Design and launch trade webinars focused on marketing education to keep Celebrity Cruises top of mind and drive revenue.
  • Assist the sales team in creating support materials and presentations beyond corporate marketing materials, ideate and produce sales aids (brand flyers, toolkits, tactical selling aids).
  • Manage asset creation (internal or outsourced) for promotional activity and brand updates.
  • Improve Salesforce integration strategy and skills/training in Adobe Content Management System.
  • Evaluate the sales organization's ways of working and provide recommendations to leadership for streamlining and refinement.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of B2B or B2C marketing and/or communications experience.
  • Travel & Tourism marketing experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in working with a multi-location team and ideally within a global brand or business.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing and/or tourism is desirable.
  • Exceptional relationship builder with ability to collaborate across business levels with key stakeholders and help resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Embraces fast-paced working environment with appreciation for planning and deadlines.
  • Proven experience of creating and presenting sales and marketing information.
  • Knowledge and understanding of trade marketing channels.
  • Commercial and creative thinking with pragmatic approach.
  • Ability to provide solutions under time constraints.
  • Highly motivated and 'can do' attitude.
  • Team player with ability to proactively collaborate.
  • Highly effective communication skills both written (including copy writing) and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with acute attention to detail.
