
Lead Heavy Vehicle Technician

The Fleet Operations team is responsible for leading fleet mechanical services and scheduled vehicle inspections to meet regulatory requirements.
As a Motor Mechanic, you will conduct repairs and scheduled maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment to ensure they meet operational capability and comply with relevant legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing job sheets and data entry
- Adhering to workplace health and safety policies
- Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment and road tests
- Updating parts inventories and maintenance records electronically
Requirements include:
- Trade certification as an Engineering Tradesperson - Level 1 Motor Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle) or equivalent skills and knowledge
- Current Medium Rigid drivers' license or ability to attain prior to appointment
This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
