Human Resources Manager

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to support the establishment and delivery of a project-wide HR/IR strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to a major infrastructure venture and may be involved in the negotiation and implementation of future enterprise agreements.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR/IR management, with a strong understanding of industrial relations and employment legislation. They will be able to develop and implement effective industrial relations plans to manage stakeholders, mitigate risk and drive project outcomes and priorities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing industrial relations plans to manage stakeholders and mitigate risk
- Providing expert advice and support to senior management on key industrial issues
- Liaising with construction workers and their union representative(s) to resolve industrial disputes
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements
About you:
To be successful, you will have:
- 10+ years of experience in a HR/IR position in the construction industry
- Extensive enterprise agreement negotiation and industrial relations advocacy experience
- Solid knowledge of legislative and economic environment as appropriate to the role
- A degree in Human Resource Management or similar
