  • Electrical Design Leadership:
  • Develop and implement high-quality engineering systems, processes, and standards to meet project deliverables.
  • Design Engineering:
  • Develop electrical scopes of work, specifications, and designs for projects.
  • Project Engineering:
  • Prepare technical specifications, tender packages, and manage procurement processes for electrical components and services.
  • Risk and Stakeholder Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with assigned work packages.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing electrical engineering aspects of capital projects in heavy industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design software, MS Office Suite (particularly Excel), and construction processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Preferred Attributes:
  • Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
  • Competence in performing electrical design tasks, including calculations and drawing reviews.
