The role requires developing high-quality grant submissions, tracking progress, and staying abreast of emerging opportunities in the sector. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting prospect research on available funding for programs;
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with funding contacts and program officers;
- Preparing, writing, and producing high-quality funding proposals that meet the needs of stakeholders; and
- Developing proposals that influence funders to effectively apply their investments in the university sector.
To excel in this role, you will have demonstrated ability to undertake research and write clearly and persuasively. Utilizing your initiative and exercising independent judgement and decision-making is essential.
