Key Responsibilities

The State Revenue Office is the Victorian Government's revenue management agency, administering a range of taxes, duties, levies, grants and subsidies.

The Role

  • You will undertake tasks that support the administration of various tax revenue lines, update, maintain and review the customer database and provide effective and efficient customer services.
  • Reporting to a Team Leader, you will be responsible for resolving and assisting others to resolve tax technical matters, achieving agreed performance targets and supporting business objectives, coaching team members and providing effective leadership.

Skill Requirements

  • Effective communicator and able to convey messages both verbally and in writing
  • Experienced in managing complex or technical enquiries and providing specialist advice to external and internal customers
  • Curious by nature and able to look for ways to make things better, faster and easier for our Customers, our Staff and our Organisation
  • Confident and resilient, able to tackle challenges and use innovative thinking to overcome obstacles
